This is an alpine trip that can accommodate Nordic skiers. There are beautifully groomed cross country ski trails throughout the Sun Valley area. See trip details below and in the Alpine trips section. Local transportation arrangements should be made in advance.
We will load the buses at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2009, in the Yellowstone Square parking lot on the north side of East Anderson (across Anderson from Fred Meyers) with a 5:30 p.m. departure time. We will provide snacks and beverages for the ride over. We will be staying at the Best Western Tyrolean Lodge which is across from the River Run Lodge parking lot. We have reserved the entire lodge for the weekend including four (4) smoking rooms for you sinners. The Tyrolean has hosted our ski club for a number of years and they have a great free skier’s breakfast included in our package. The Tyrolean allows us several changing rooms for late check-out on Sunday. The buses will pick us up at 4:30 p.m. Sunday and we should be home by about 7:30 p.m.
