This is a low budget, carpool trip to a beautiful area in Montana with excellent Alpine and Nordic skiing, a beautiful resort nearby with both indoor and outdoor pools and a year-round 350 ft. water slide. There are also terrific restaurants close by. Discovery Basin has 6 chair lifts, 1700 feet of vertical, and 46 runs ranging from easy beginner to double black diamond, plus it has a breathtaking view from the top that includes the Pintler Wilderness Area, the historic mining town of Philipsburg, and several large lakes. Plan to soak or swim at Fairmont Hot Springs just outside Anaconda and dine at several of the unique restaurants in either Butte or Anaconda. Because of the variety of options for skiing, swimming, and dining, car pools can be arranged. Call George to make your reservations
